Ein is someone who won't accept defeat easily and when he was defeated, he will quickly pushed himself right back up and forced himself to work even harder to achieve his goal. He believed, any failed experiments or inventions is one of the way to become greater inventor/engineer.

BACKGROUND
Both of his parents are a well known Alchemists. They were puzzled when their son decided to become an engineer instead of following their footsteps as an Alchemist. Ein tended to debate with his father because of this matter and they let him entered the Great Metis University on one condition. If Einhardt managed to invent something that will make both of them proud, they will let him pursue his own dream. But if he failed, they will forced Einhardt to return home and made him choose Alchemy.
